Welcome 2013!!
It’s going to be a big year! I feel it! A good year. A successful one! Last year I discovered self publishing and this year I’m really going to explore it. I also have two books coming out with Soul Mate Publishing, so I’m very excited about that! I’m starting the year with a “new” name and I’m hoping by the end of the month I’ll have a brand new book out on KDP for Amazon.
I’ve given myself a deadline of the end of the month to get it all put together. I’m working on a cover, working on edits and in honor of my new story, I’m going to dedicate my Six Sentence Sunday to it.
It’s called Ride Away Home (unless another title grabs me in the next few weeks). Here’s the blurb:
Quinn Emery isn’t looking for anything more than raising Quarter Horses when she returns to Falstad, South Dakota after college. Widower Craig Lynch just wants his daughter, Marisol, to be happy with their new life on the prairie. When Quinn offers her help, Craig is shocked that the little girl he remembers has grown into a beautiful and disturbingly sexy woman. A woman he can’t resist. A woman whose dreams he can help come true.
And here’s six sentences from the beginning of the story.
“Come out now,” Quinn Emery demanded irritably. She refused to go inside the decrepit bunkhouse to talk to Robby. The place held too many memories. She needed to be outside and keep her temper in firm control.
The doorway remained empty, but she heard the creak of the old cot inside.
“I’m not going in there, Robby, so you might as well come out.”
More next week!
Make sure you get over to Six Sentence Sunday for more awesome authors!
See you next week!
